Under the United States Force Posture Initiatives both Australia and the United States (US) will be funding and delivering construction projects. The US Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is the organisation responsible for the delivery and management of the US funded projects. This industry day is being held to provide general information to Australian businesses interested in working with NAVFAC.
This event will be of interest to businesses keen to provide construction services to NAVFAC.
In addition to a question and answer session, there will be sessions on:
US MILCON acquisition
Contractors’ proposal evaluation criteria
Post award construction requirements.
We take this opportunity to confirm that the purpose of the Industry Day is to provide general information on how to do business with the U.S. Government (NAVFAC) for upcoming military construction projects. The Industry Day will not be discussing information related to specific projects to be performed in Australia. Specific project information will be discussed at a later date after the Request for Proposals are issued. Presentations, questions and answers will be posted to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website under https://www.neco.navy.mil under Solicitation No. N62742PACACQ3 after the Industry Day.
