Pollination at the Calyx is a free floral display showcasing the role colour plays in one of the plant world’s greatest acts.
Curated by the horticultural team at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, The Calyx is bought to life in a kaleidoscope of colour with a collection of plants and flowers putting on their coloured best to attract pollinators.
Wander through the vibrant beds of coloured of orchids, daisies, gardenias and lilies or stand back and take in the magnitude of the green wall.
The largest of its kind in Australia, standing at 6 m tall and spanning 50 m, the green wall uses over 18,000 plants and flowers to feature the key pollination theme as a living artwork.
The free floral display and onsite café are open 10 am – 4 pm daily.

Entry is free for all guests however gold coin donations are greatly appreciated to help us maintain Pollination and the development of future displays.
Guests booking online can enter at any time on their selected date and can enter as many times as they wish on that day.
